Our Services Include: Prenatal Visits: Discuss your birth preferences, create a personalized birth plan, and learn coping techniques for labor. Labor Support: Provide continuous emotional and physical support, including comfort measures, positioning, and breathing techniques. Postpartum Care: Offer guidance on breastfeeding, newborn care, and maternal self-care. Cancellation Policy
Service Description Birth center doula support provides personalized, non-medical assistance during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period in a birth center setting. Services include: • Prenatal Support: Education on the birth process, personalized birth planning, and preparation for a birth center delivery. • Labor and Birth Support: Continuous emotional and physical support, including comfort techniques (breathing, positioning, massage), and advocacy for the client’s birth preferences. • Postpartum Support: Immediate support after birth, guidance with breastfeeding initiation, and emotional reassurance. Doulas do not perform medical tasks or replace the care provided by the birth center’s healthcare team but work collaboratively to support the client’s birth plan. Disclaimer Birth center doulas are non-medical professionals. Clients must consult their midwife/healthcare provider for all medical concerns. The doula’s role is to provide complementary support. All medical decisions remain the client’s responsibility. Payment Policy • Fees: Service fees will be detailed during the initial consultation. • Deposits: A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve services and is applied to the total cost. • Payment Deadline: Full payment is due by 37 weeks gestation unless a prior arrangement is made. Refund Policy • Refunds are not available for services already provided. • Partial refunds (excluding the deposit) may apply for cancellations made before 36 weeks gestation. • If the doula is unavailable for the birth, a qualified backup doula will be arranged, or up to 75% of the total fee may be refunded if no backup is available. Cancellation Policy • Client-Initiated: Written notice is required for cancellations. Partial refunds may apply if canceled before 36 weeks; no refunds will be issued after this point. • Provider-Initiated: If the doula cannot fulfill the agreement, a prorated refund will be provided, and efforts will be made to secure a backup doula. Communication Policy • On-call support begins at 37 weeks gestation and continues until the birth. • Non-urgent questions may be addressed during regular business hours via phone, text, or email. • Client will communicate preferences and any changes Liability Waiver Clients release the doula from liability for outcomes related to medical decisions, labor, or delivery.
