Cancellation Policy
Policy for Placenta Products and Services Service Description Placenta products, such as capsules, tinctures, and keepsakes, are prepared for postpartum wellness. Services include professional processing with adherence to safety guidelines to ensure high-quality products. Scope of Services • Placenta Encapsulation: Capsules using either the Traditional Chinese (steamed) or raw dehydration method. • Placenta Tinctures: A liquid tincture made with high-grade alcohol for long-term use. • Keepsakes: Includes prints, dried umbilical cord keepsakes, or other requested items. • Pickup/Delivery: Prompt placenta collection and delivery for proper handling and preservation. Disclaimer • Products are not FDA-approved and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent medical conditions. • Clients should consult their healthcare provider for medical advice. Client Responsibilities • Storage: Store placenta on ice or refrigerate within 2-4 hours post-birth. Notify the doula immediately for pickup within 24 hours. • Health Disclosure: Inform the doula of medical conditions affecting safety (e.g., infections). • Placenta Condition: Ensure the placenta is uncontaminated and undamaged. Payment Policy • A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to book services; the balance is due at placenta pickup. Refund Policy • Refunds are unavailable after services are rendered. If the placenta is unusable (e.g., contamination), clients may receive a partial refund, excluding the deposit. Cancellation Policy • Cancellations must be in writing. Deposits are non-refundable but may transfer to other services. Liability Waiver Clients assume full responsibility for placenta product use. The doula is not liable for any reactions or outcomes.
