Cancellation Policy

Service Overview Virtual doula services provide emotional, informational, and physical support using remote tools. Services include: Prenatal Support: Birth planning, partner coaching, and education on labor stages and comfort measures. Labor and Birth Support: Real-time guidance on relaxation techniques, emotional encouragement, and partner support strategies. Postpartum Support: Assistance with feeding initiation and emotional transition, plus referrals for additional support. Disclaimer Services are non-clinical and do not replace professional medical care. Clients must consult healthcare providers for medical concerns and ensure a reliable internet connection. Doula is not responsible for technical issues. Payment Policy Fees: Include prenatal meetings, labor support, and postpartum check-ins. Deposit: A 25% non-refundable deposit is required at booking. Balance: Full payment due by 37 weeks gestation unless a payment plan is arranged. Methods: Accepted via credit card, PayPal, or bank transfer. Refunds Eligibility: No refunds for rendered services. Partial refunds (minus the deposit) available before 36 weeks. Non-Refundable Fees: Deposit and other specific expenses outlined in the agreement. Unavailability: A backup doula or prorated refund (up to 75%) will be offered if the doula cannot provide services. Registration Consultation: Free initial meeting to assess compatibility and review services. Agreement: Registration confirmed upon receipt of a signed service agreement, intake forms, and deposit. Cancellation Policy By Client: Before 36 weeks: Partial refund minus deposit. After 36 weeks: No refunds. By Doula: A backup doula or prorated refund for unrendered services. Rescheduling Appointments: At least 24 hours’ notice required. Short-notice changes may incur a $25 rescheduling fee. Labor: Notify the doula promptly to ensure availability. Privacy and Confidentiality Client information is kept confidential and shared only with consent or as required by law. Data is securely stored, and communication occurs through secure platforms. Availability On-call 24/7 starting at 37 weeks until delivery. Support is provided via video, phone, text, or email based on the client’s preference. Code of Conduct Clients must communicate openly, respect boundaries, and take responsibility for decisions. The doula provides respectful, evidence-based support. Liability Waiver By signing the agreement, clients release the doula from liability and accept full
